India: SABMiller to bring its global beer brands in India

International brewer SABMiller is searching for the possibility to introduce some of its global brands in India, according to local media reports.

The brewery consolidated its breweries across the country and now has 9 breweries instead of the earlier 11 units. It has a combined brewing capacity of about 2.4 million hectolitres and a 35 percent share of the beer market in India.
